Totoro - Umbrella

I got this from [info]kimmparker and others. I filled it out at work this morning while I was waiting for queries to run etc., but then things got busy and I didn't get around to actually posting it. So I will now.

If anyone actually reads it all, well... good for you.

60 things you didn't know about me...

What is in the back of your car? (Back seat, not trunk, right?) - sun shade, a dime (I saw it this morning), canvas shopping bags

What color is your toothbrush? Green and white, I think

What were you doing at 8 am this morning? Getting in the car or driving to work

What were you doing 45 minutes ago? Databasey goodness

What is your favorite candy bar? I dunno... maybe Twix or Butterfinger. Snickers is always good. I don't eat many candy bars.

Have you ever been to a strip club? No

What is the last thing you said aloud? Probably "howzit goin'"

What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Mint Chocolate Chip

What was the last thing you had to drink? Coffee with half and half

What are you wearing right now? Jeans, a green short-sleeved button-down shirt (untucked) and brown street shoes

What was the last thing you ate? Oatmeal with yogurt and blueberries

Have you bought any new clothing items this week? No, but maybe two weeks ago - and I rarely buy new clothes, so I thought it was worth a mention

When was the last time you exercised? Softball game last night... other than that, I haven't been too good about exercising, other than walking places when I can

Last sporting event you watched? If live, it was a Valley Cats game a few weeks ago; otherwise, I think the Wimbledon Men's Doubles Finals on TV at Moriah's

Who is the last person you sent a comment/message on MySpace? I don't do myspace. I think I commented on Snakey's Facebook page last night.

Ever go camping? Lots, once upon a time.

Do you take vitamins daily? Yeah

Do you have a tan? No, and I'm finally at a place in my life where I don't really care!

Do you like Chinese food over pizza? Sometimes, but Pizza is really a favorite, even more so these days

Do you drink your pop with a straw? At a restaurant I might drink my soda that way.

What did your last text message say? Something congratulatory for Steve's diving catch in softball, and that I wouldn't have time to go to the batting cages with him.

Are you someone's best friend? Shouldn't you be asking THEM? But I'm pretty sure I am someone's best friend.

What are you doing tomorrow? Work, maybe watch a DVD with the wife or something.

Where is your dad? At work I think.

Look to your le ft, what do you see? My Mauri Kunnas calendar (if I turn far enough)

What color is your watch? Black with some gray/silver bits

What do you think of when you hear Australia? Men at Work

Do you use chapstick? Occasionally

What is your birthstone? I don't feel like looking it up, don't really care.

Do you go in at a fast food place or just hit the drive thru? I don't go to fast food places much anymore. I used to use the drive-through a lot, but now I think I'd be more inclined to park and go in for my food, instead of destroying our world by idling my car in line.

What is your favorite number? 37...

Do you have a dog? No, and I think my choice of life partner now precludes that possibility :). And to be honest, I don't really mind. I like dogs sometimes, but not enough to want to deal with taking care of one.

Last person you talked to on the phone? Steve Lam, I think.

Have you met anyone famous? Hmmm... I met Brian Regan once, and if he's not really famous, well, he should be!

Any plans today? Do conference calls count? *sigh*

How many states have you lived in? Four: Oregon, New Jersey, New York, Texas.

Ever go to college? Rice University - I loved it

Do you dye your hair? No

Biggest annoyance in your life right now? Nothing really; maybe random work stuff I guess

What was the last song you listened to? Whatever was on the radio when Tuuli drove me home from softball last night. I don't remember.

Can you say the alphabet backwards? I think I can

Do you have a maid service clean your house? No

Favorite pair of shoes you wear all the time? The ones I'm wearing now - brown skechers, nothing special but I like 'em.

What was your wedding song? We made five CDs of songs! Been meaning to make a post listing them all.

Are you jealous of anyone? I think I get jealous fairly often, but no particular person or anything that I obsess about. It always passes.

Is anyone jealous of you? I don't know.

Do you love anyone? Joo

Do any of your friends have children? Yes

Do you eat healthy? I do pretty well, but I also have some bad habits. I've come a long way though, from where I once was...

What do you usually do during the day? Kick ass

Do you hate anyone that you know right now? Ehh... I try not to do that. I don't know.

Do you use the word 'hello' daily? I doubt it. Probably mostly if I answer the phone and don't know who it is, but that doesn't happen so much.

What color is your car? Dark green

Do you like cats? I guess, but it depends on the cat.

Have you ever been to Six Flags? Yeah, I think so.

How did you get your worst scar? What do you mean? Scars are awesome! But I guess my "best" scar is on my right forearm. I got it in Croatia when I was there in 2002. I was carrying these massive flower pots, and at one point while moving them around, the edge of one scraped me on the arm. Painful, but nothing major. But I think the violence done to the skin (as opposed to a much deeper but cleaner cut) made it scar. I also swam in the ocean (Adriatic Sea) soon after, and it seemed to make the wound all puffy and purple for a while. I wonder if I infected it or something. Anyway, it wasn't able to heal over properly, thus I still have a scar there.

Sweet - thanks for the comment! I was in Croatia for about a week and a half on a trip with some folks from my church in Houston. We teamed up with a group there that was involved in community improvement (like cleaning up places, providing a place for young people to hang out, etc.) in their city. It was a great trip, eye-opening in a number of ways; unfortunately, I haven't done a good job of keeping up with the friends I made in Croatia or the ones I traveled with from the U.S., and the memories of that time are fading...

I hope you get to go visit. It was certainly a lovely and interesting place with some wonderful, strong people.

Hello :)

Yeah, we'll try to get that posted sometime this decade... but thanks for expressing interest, that might actually motivate us to do it eventually!

Heh... it's not even so much that I'm a good boy, but that I can hardly imagine a more uncomfortable experience for myself than in a strip club... it just seems humiliating for all involved.
